Loveland

The Gateway to the Rockies

Loveland is known as the "Sweetheart City" but its thriving arts scene is what inspires passion in many residents. Numerous nationally acclaimed sculptors call Loveland home. You can see their work at area galleries and tour the foundries. The Benson Park Sculpture Garden contains an impressive collection and you will find interesting artwork throughout the city. Each August, Loveland hosts Sculpture in the Park , a world-renowned outdoor sculpture show. The almost 100-year-old Rialto Theatre  has been lovingly restored and hosts performing arts groups & musicians and business meetings. In keeping with tradition, the Rialto periodically features silent films with live music accompaniment.

Any visitor to the thriving downtown area of Loveland, will know that Loveland is big on charm. With 25 city parks, including North Lake Park on the centrally located Lake Loveland, and Boyd Lake State Park, a boater/angler/water skiers paradise just outside of town, Loveland is big on recreation and beauty. It's nestled against the Rocky Mountains and is just a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. Loveland offers charming historic vibes as well as wide-open spaces with room to breathe.
